Job Summary
Under the supervision of the Nurse Manager or AOD, manages nurses within Prisma Health Resource Staffing on the Richland campus. Works with the nursing management team to ensure Prisma Health's internal staffing needs are met through Prisma Health Resource Staffing. Assesses and documents staff performance.
Implements and maintains standards/rules/procedures in compliance with regulatory/hospital.
Participates with the development/implementation/evaluation of department goals.
Assists with planning and managing the department budget and resources to meet financial target.
Provides effective leadership by coordinating and integrating services within the department, with other departments and Prisma Health facilities.
Assists in the management of human resources by determining qualifications, competence and performance expectations; implementing and monitoring staffing plans; coordinating orientation, in-service training and continuing education of all persons in the department.

Performs other duties as assigned.
Supervisory/Management Responsibilities
This is a supervisor job which may have direct supervision of team members which may include hire/termination authority, disciplinary authority, and performance management responsibilities. May have budget input or responsibilities. Job is not considered a member of management staff.
Minimum Requirements
Education - Bachelor's degree in Nursing
Experience - Two (2) years of RN experience in appropriate area of nursing. Previous management or supervisory experience preferred.
In Lieu Of
In lieu of the BSN requirement above, a nursing diploma or an Associate degree in Nursing may be considered if the applicant signs a Memorandum of Understanding agreeing to enroll in an accredited BSN or MSN program within one year and obtain a BSN or MSN degree within four (4) years.
Required Certifications, Registrations, Licenses
Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in South Carolina
Certified in nursing specialty preferred.
