The Post-Harvest Manager is responsible for overseeing a team of trimming staff and the day to day tasks associated with daily harvests. This position will inspect product for quality defects to ensure the procedures are being followed and meet specific requirements set forth by the Cultivation Director.

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Proficient and fluent in all job duties required of all post-harvest employees.
  • Trimmers are primarily responsible for the efficient processing of marijuana flower
  • Must work in a timely manner and strive to increase productivity
  • Must be able to adapt to various strains, styles and types of marijuana being trimmed, adjusting techniques to maintain a steady pace and quality
  • Must maintain a clean and organized work environment to avoid contaminating product
  • Must be able to accurately weigh the trimmed flower
  • Able to use a computer and/or hand tools while sitting or standing for extended periods of time
  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must be able to obtain proper badging as required by state law.
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently meet productivity and performance requirements
  • Demonstrates high attention to detail
  • Previous Cannabis related experience not necessary, but is a plus
  • Must be able to perform repetitive tasks
  • Ability to work in a highly regulated environment
  • Knowledge of cannabis industry equipment and OSHA standards is a plus

Physical Demands and Work Environment

  • Remaining in a standing position for extended periods
  • Able to lift up to 25lbs regularly
  • Ability to focus on repetitive tasks
  • Hand and finger dexterity required for extended periods
  • Consistent hand-eye coordination
  • Wearing gloves and other required PPE for extended periods when required
  • Working environment can have strong cannabis smells
  • Exposure to pollen, allergens, and chemical pesticides in the grow facility or greenhouse
  • Work environments that include exposure to, but not limited to, chemicals, fumes, dust, odors, extreme heat temperatures, heights, indoor AC, no AC, motion, noise, protective gear, vibrations, and water
